Celebrations!

This past weekend was so special for us.  We got to meet our new nephew, William Robert, and celebrate Matt's mom turning 60.  We drove up Friday night and practically RAN to Dave & Kristen's house 1st chance we had on Saturday morning.  There is almost nothing better than an experience like that.  Seeing what 2 people you love have created...its breath-taking.  He is a gorgeous little man, looking a lot like his gorgeous mother, with the most expressive little face.  Babies are so funny at that age and William is just so sweet and such a little peanut.  Especially next to our porker-of-a-daughter (who, in her defense, has a full month on William).  Anyway, Kristen is such a natural, it seems like she has been a mother her whole life.  My favorite part though might have been seeing Dave in his new daddy role.  People say women have a "glow" when they are pregnant...Dave has a glow about him that is unmistakable.  And I don't blame him one bit, that new son of his is a dream boat!  So, the cousins were able to meet and share a nap and then we were back to the Campbell's for our next celebration.

Jan turned 60 this past weekend and man, I hope I look half that good when I am there.  The boys made her some pots for some new plants for her yard.  Those plants originally had tons of blooms but they were loved on a little too much by the time we gave them to Grammie.  Oh well, hopefully they grow back!  The boys also shared a book of pictures and birthday cards.  I hope to always have them color their own cards every year and be able to see the evolution of their art.  It was a wonderful time celebrating a wonderful woman in our lives.  If only we were just a couple hours closer!!!

Having a serious debate over something...well, serious.

Beautiful girls!

We had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to spend more time with William.  What a wonderful addition to the family, can't wait to watch him grow, grow, grow.
