Washington

We don't have an official move date, but we do have a house. We will be moving to Poulsbo, WA sometime between February and March. We are about 1/2 mi from the downtown and water and about 15 min from where Matt will be working. We are so excited.

Charlottesville, VA

To celebrate our 3rd Anniversary and the chance to be together on a holiday...we went and spent 5 days in Charlottesville, VA. Everyone raves about this town, with UVA, the wineries and all the great shopping, we finally planned a trip. We absolutely loved it. We ate some amazing food, hiked, explored, shopped and rested! It was one of our favorite getaways so far and would recommend it to anyone!

The Clifton Inn. We stayed in a group of small cottages across from this main house. We backed up to a lake surrounded by hiking trails. Chessie was beside herself with excitement.

Fall Fun

Fall is our favorite time of year. Its cool and sunny and PUMPKINS are born!! I drug my sweet husband on a hay ride to pick out my pumpkin. Turns out, they were understocked so they just went out and dumped a bunch of picked pumpkins out in a field. Oh well...it was close enough.

New cousin

This past weekend we went up to visit Matt's family. We got to meet Megan and Ryan's newest addition, Penny. Her and Chessie got to play.

This past weekend, we got a visit from a few of my favorite girls. Mom, Mia and Jessie. We had a great time, shopping, swimming and a trip to the zoo!

New toys...

I found this squeeky squid toy and couldn't pass it up. Chessie was so excited over it, she didn't want to ever let it go. Needless to say, the toy was a hit.

Labor Day Weekend!

Its very rare to get weekends together so we try to take advantage of every one. We drove over to Smithfield, VA and stayed at the Church Street Inn. Chessie had a grand time, she was just happy to be included!

VACATION!

For the 1st time since our honeymoon, we got a real vacation! A week off from work, away from the responsibilities of home and TOGETHER. We went with the family to Deep Creek Lake. As par for the course, when Ryen and Dad are there, down time was not an option. Hiking, biking, water-skiing, wake-boarding...and the Wii... We had so much fun.

Playing Mario Kart...she will be ready for her license in no time! The Mountain Roller Coaster...all we heard was "Mommy, I want to go on the rolli-coaster"

Upgrade

Matt has been upgraded! He is now officially Lieutenant Matthew Campbell. We celebrated with the Campbells and some other guys who also made rank this past weekend.

Matt's Birthday

All his life, he has loved Nascar. For his 26th birthday, he and some family/friends finally took advantage of being so close to Richmond and went to a race!
