The final countdown...

So, reality is starting to set in that we are in our final months here in Washington.  So much has happened here, the biggest change(s) in our life and now were are about to say good-bye.  It is bittersweet, to say the least.  We have made some life-long friends, a ton of wonderful memories and its not going to be easy to say good-bye.  We have found a great place to spend our summers though and we are certainly coming back on vacation.  Its been a whirl-wind since Matt accepted his job.  Tons of planning, house hunting and packing.  But, when we can, we are stealing some time away to enjoy our last little bit of time out here.

Leavenworth, WA.  Cute little town.  We stayed at an adorable resort called "The Sleeping Lady".  It was covered in a thick blanket of snow and the cross-country skiers were in heaven.  I would love to come back here in the summer!  The only problem with the trip was some idiot forgot to bring the boy's COATS!!  Its the middle of January!!  What kind of mother am I?  Luckily, it wasn't too cold and I had brought tons of layers.  We survived!

No matter how hard it is to leave, we are so excited to get back to our family and friends on the East Coast!  We will post details when we have them planned out!  Can't wait to see everyone soon!
